🌟 Mission
The church’s mission is beautifully expressed in three core pillars:
Called to Serve: Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Word and Sacraments, offering gifts and service in Christ’s name.
Connected by Christ: Building connections with God, local and global communities, and each other through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
Caring for All: Guided by the Holy Spirit to love one another in a welcoming, diverse, and compassionate community that nurtures faith across all ages.
🎶 Worship Style
We offer a traditional worship service of the Christian faith, rooted in scripture and following Lutheran liturgy.
Services are accessible, inclusive, and welcoming to all.

🕊️ Worship & Community
The warm and caring congregation at Good Shepherd welcomes everyone. Services are led by a minister or by a lay leader following Lutheran liturgy. Communion is offered when a rostered minister presides over the service. A variety of beloved traditional and newer congregational hymns are sung. Special music is often provided by the choir or a soloist.
Local outreach in the Selkirk community includes supporting the Soup Kitchen, the Food Bank, Meals on Wheels, Project Linus, and the NOW Program.
Good Shepherd and Selkirk Evangelical Churches share weekly services with the location alternated on a monthly basis. Please call ahead for accurate information on service time and location.
