Good Shepherd is a family of believers who come together for worship, fellowship, study and service. Our congregation ranges from young to old, as does our worship. We blend traditional Lutheran Liturgy with familiar hymns and contemporary music.
We are a Lutheran congregation, meaning that we believe strongly in God’s free gift of grace for all, and that we are imperfect sinners in need of God’s love. All are welcome to join with us in worship, those who just want to visit and those who are interested in learning more.
Founded in 1954, our first building was near downtown Selkirk on Main St. In 1988, a new church was built at the south edge of town, across the highway from the cemetery. Our building is completely wheel chair accessible, in addition we provide headsets for those that are hard of hearing.
